According to Jin10 reports, Hong Kong-listed storage concept stock Montage Technology saw a sharp short-term decline of over 18%, while GigaDevice Semiconductor dropped over 8%. On July 15, South Korean prosecutors conducted a raid on the offices of Montage Technology, Japan's Renesas Electronics, and U.S.-based Rambus in South Korea, investigating allegations of semiconductor component price manipulation. Montage Technology responded by stating that the company's operations are currently normal.
