CITIC Securities expects data center capital expenditure to reach 10.7 trillion yuan during the 15th Five Year Plan period

CITIC Securities pointed out that the synergy between electricity and computing power is the key to the high-quality development of computing power in China. It is expected that during the 15th Five Year Plan period, the new capacity of data centers will be 78.5 GW, corresponding to a capital expenditure of about 10.7 trillion yuan. The investment scale of coupling electricity and computing power will be about 2 trillion yuan, and the compound annual growth rate during the 15th Five Year Plan period will be close to 42%.
