Ostium reveals July 15th attack, resulting in losses exceeding $23.75 million

Ostium, the RWA trading platform on Arbitrum, reported that on July 15th, hackers breached off chain infrastructure related to the protocol pricing system, resulting in losses exceeding $23.75 million. Ostium is collaborating with Mandiant, zeroShadow, Collisionless, SEAL 911, and law enforcement agencies, and coordinating exchanges, bridges, and stablecoin issuers. Ostium is isolating and strengthening its infrastructure, and will provide at least 24 hours' notice before unfreezing trading contracts. After reopening, trader positions will be marked at the current price.
