Bitcoin Long vs. Short Momentum Analysis: Bulls in control, price trending upward! 1. Bullish momentum: Moderate increase in volume, but not explosive. BTC successfully broke from 64K to 65.5K, holding above 65,000 and completing the consolidation breakout from the past two weeks. However, spot trading volume has fallen below the $4.5 billion statistical range. Glassnode pointed out: 'Investors are still waiting for stronger confidence to drive the next major move.' In other words, just as I expected, BTC's price continues to trend upward with some volatility! 2. Bearish momentum: Present but lacking volume, bears are getting wrecked! Short liquidations hit $46.29 million, surpassing longs, as shorts got squeezed near 65K. The 4-hour upward wave is complete, with no bearish divergence signals, and shorts failed to mount an effective counterattack. 3. Current funding rates remain negative, meaning short positions are costly to hold. This creates room for a short squeeze, pushing prices higher. Short sellers' funds are becoming fuel for the rally—what a disaster for them. If Bitcoin achieves a decisive close above 66K with strong trading volume, it will confirm the breakout, targeting 67-67.5K. As I predicted, a second test of the 68K area is highly likely. I’ll keep watching and continue buying the dips. #Bitcoin #BTC #Crypto #Trading #HODL
