Strategy reveals that Bitcoin reserves can cover 31 years of dividends, holding 843775 BTC
Chaitanya Jain, Head of Bitcoin Products and Investors at Strategy, disclosed on X on July 20th that Strategy's Bitcoin reserves can cover 31 years of dividends, while its US dollar reserves can cover 1.8 years of short-term dividend obligations. According to documents submitted by Strategy to the US Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), as of July 19th, its US dollar reserves amounted to $3.225 billion. Strategy holds 843775 BTC, with a purchase cost of approximately $63.69 billion and an average purchase price of $75476. From July 13th to 19th, Strategy sold 2.73 million shares of MSTR stock, raising a net proceeds of approximately $264 million. Strategy did not issue preferred stocks, repurchase stocks, or purchase Bitcoin during the week.
