Cloud computing startup Fluidstack completed a Series A funding of $830 million in January, valued at $7.5 billion. It was led by Situational Awareness, a fund under former OpenAI researcher Leopold Aschenbrenner, with multiple investors participating. Fluidstack builds infrastructure for AI labs with the goal of becoming the fastest company in the world to deploy hundreds of gigawatts of computing power.
