Lightning Labs launches Bitcoin payment toolkit Wavelength

Lightning Labs has launched the self hosted Bitcoin payment toolkit Wavelength, which is built on the Ark settlement layer and supports developers and AI agents to access Lightning payments without running nodes, managing channels, or obtaining liquidity. It also supports AI agents to use Bitcoin payment APIs, data sources, and other services through MCP tool calls. Currently, Wavelength is available in alpha versions on Signet and Testnet, and mainnet access requires invitation.
