Jukan: AI programming tool weakens CUDA barrier, bullish on AMD, bearish on NVDA
Analyst Jukan quoted DeepSeek founder Liang Wenfeng's viewpoint that AI programming tools are weakening NVDA's CUDA ecological barriers from the software side. DeepSeek is reducing its dependence on NVDA through its self-developed compiler and TileLang, and is collaborating with Huawei to obtain an estimated 16000 Huawei AI chips. Jukan believes that advances in coding AI will accelerate the development of AMD's ROCm ecosystem, and AMD has announced the use of Claude Code for chip design.
