Anthropic: Never advocated banning open weight AI models

Anthropic stated that they have never advocated for the prohibition of open weight AI models and refuted related claims. CEO Dario Amodai stated that Anthropic disagrees with the view that open weight models are naturally more conducive to the development of AI security protection.
