This bear market has been tough, and it's really not easy to still have partners standing shoulder to shoulder with you. Watching so many people around me unable to hold on, quietly uninstalling apps and going back to regular jobs—saying it doesn’t feel bittersweet would be a lie. Those of us still active in the crypto space are all here for the next $BTC halving cycle, hoping to take another shot and make some big money! Same here. Thinking back to the last cycle, holding a bag full of spot positions only to see them cut in half—that kind of frustration is etched into my bones. If there’s another chance in the next cycle, I’ll make sure to hold onto the major coins securely. The last cycle taught me so much. After the halving in April 2024, $BTC did hit $126K, but the much-anticipated altcoin season didn’t arrive as expected. Mainstream coins like Ethereum underperformed, and altcoins were completely silent. The myth of the four-year cycle is being broken, as institutions entering the game through ETFs have changed the rules. The next halving is expected around April 2028. Based on historical patterns, the bear market bottom might appear between late 2026 and early 2027. From the bottom to the halving, and then to the breakout, it’s another two years of grinding. I don’t want to gamble on which altcoin might 100x anymore. I just want to hold onto the majors like $BTC and $ETH.
