According to KBS, the head of the Policy Office of the South Korean Presidential Office, Kim Yong hwan, announced that he has requested the Financial Commission and the Financial Supervisory Agency of South Korea to investigate the structural factors that contribute to the higher volatility of the South Korean stock market compared to other markets. The assessment covers market structural issues such as leveraged ETFs, derivative trading, and investor structure.
