In the past 7 days, ETH ETFs have been in a net inflow state, while BTC ETFs are in a net outflow state. This is one of the clearest signals of 'institutional fund flow divergence' right now. 1. Institutional funds are showing divergence. BTC has seen consecutive days of net outflows (especially in the past 7 days, with a cumulative outflow exceeding $460 million), while ETH continues to maintain net inflows. This isn’t just a one-day anomaly; it’s an ongoing trend over the past week. 2. BlackRock is 'selling BTC and buying ETH.' BlackRock is currently the largest manager of crypto spot ETFs. Its fund flows are often regarded by the market as a key indicator of institutional sentiment. IBIT is selling, ETHA is buying, which suggests that its clients or internal strategies are undergoing relative allocation adjustments. Finally, at least in the short term, funds seem to favor ETH slightly. During a cautious phase in the overall crypto market sentiment, ETH is still managing to sustain net ETF inflows, which is rare. Comparatively, in the short term, ETH seems to have stronger institutional support than BTC. In other words, institutions are currently using ETF channels to reduce exposure to BTC and increase exposure to ETH. (This is just a short-term observation; long-term trends still need further monitoring.)
