According to Sifted, Index Ventures has completed a new $2 billion fundraising round, increasing its total investable assets to $3.5 billion. This round includes a $400 million seed fund, a $900 million early-stage venture fund, and an additional $700 million for the growth-stage fund, raising the growth-stage fund's size from $1.5 billion to $2.2 billion. Index Ventures plans to use the funds to support founders in Europe, Israel, and the U.S., with a core focus on the AI sector. It has already invested in Mistral, Cohere, and Ineffable Intelligence. Within Index Ventures' portfolio, Wiz was acquired by Google for $32 billion, Figma completed its IPO, and Revolut conducted a secondary market share sale, reaching a valuation of $115 billion.
