Today, my own account took a bitcoin:native dual-currency option at $63,000, then flipped it for $64,000 expiring tomorrow. Originally, I wanted to set it at $65,000, but the yield seemed a bit low. Plus, today’s drop is probably due to MSTR preparing to sell Bitcoin, since @saylor is announcing something tonight. So, there might be some risk-off sentiment. I’m not sure if Bitcoin was sold this week—let’s wait and see. Even if it was sold, it wouldn’t be from the secondary market, so the actual impact on BTC’s price would be limited. Think about it: when MSTR bought BTC, it wasn’t from the secondary market, and it didn’t affect BTC’s price. Selling would work the same way. This sentiment will probably take another two days to brew, so I chose the $64,000 high sell option. If it sells, I’ll earn a $1,000 spread + premium. If it doesn’t sell, I think $63,000 is still a pretty good price. @Gate Crypto, U.S. stocks, Hong Kong stocks, Korean stocks, gold, CFDs, prediction markets—all-in-one trading platform.
