According to Reuters, Microsoft Meta、 Jiagu Cloud, Amazon, and Alphabet have committed approximately $1.16 trillion in future lease payments for the construction of AI data centers. This scale is approximately four times the current $285 billion recognized lease liabilities of the five companies. Among them, Jiaguyun has not yet started leasing commitments of 260 billion US dollars, which is nearly 7 times its confirmed leasing liabilities of 37.89 billion US dollars. Microsoft, Meta, Alphabet, and Amazon have not yet started leasing commitments of $32.91 billion, $27.899 billion, $85.2 billion, and $13.721 billion, respectively. Meta signed a $68 billion data center leasing agreement in July, raising the known commitment size of the five companies to approximately $116 trillion. These leases are expected to commence between fiscal years 2027 and 2029, with a lease term of 15 to 19 years.
