Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix evaluate Zhongwei Company's equipment to cope with the risk of US export restrictions

According to Reuters, Samsung Electronics and SK Hynix are evaluating Zhongwei's etching equipment for consideration in their factories in China. Samsung Electronics denies testing or considering using Zhongwei equipment in its Chinese factories, while SK Hynix declined to comment. The two companies currently rely on application materials and etching equipment from Panlin Group for their production lines.
