According to the official blog, the ZEUS infrastructure of Lightning Network Wallet has encountered a cybersecurity incident and the service has been temporarily taken offline. The attack has been brought under control and the team is conducting a system audit. User funds have not been lost and are not at risk. Customers whose LSP channels are closed will receive replacement channels after service is restored. Preliminary investigation shows that the incident was limited to ZEUS infrastructure and no software vulnerabilities were found in the lightning node. The team is using a trusted execution environment and the Validating Lightning Signer project to strengthen the infrastructure.
