According to Digital Asset, the South Korean Police Department has selected Upbit's parent company Dunamu through a public tender to be responsible for the custody of the seized virtual assets, with a contract period of one year. The seized digital assets will be managed through the digital asset custody service Upbit Custody, which will respond in real-time to regulatory infrastructure and provide custody and management within 365 days. This service adopts 100% offline cold wallet, 24/7 monitoring, and introduces MPC, DKG multi key management, and multi signature technology to ensure asset isolation and security.
