Former FBI agent Patrick Steven Yaroch pleaded guilty on November 5 to wire fraud and money laundering charges. Prosecutors allege that Yaroch used wallet credentials collected during FBI investigations to steal approximately $2.47 million in cryptocurrency.
Yaroch used credentials related to 35 independent investigations to make approximately 100 fraudulent transfers.
