CryptoQuant analyst: Bitcoin's average dormant period rises due to Coldcard hacking incident

CryptoQuant analyst Axel Adler Jr. stated that the 30 day moving average of Bitcoin's average dormant period has risen to 19 days and has reached the 365 day moving average for the first time since the beginning of the year. The Coldcard hacking incident resulted in a large amount of BTC being transferred to new wallets, and this increase is related to BTC transfers rather than long-term holders distributing them.
