[Morgan Stanley Significantly Increased Holdings in BlackRock Bitcoin ETF in Q2] According to Deep Tide TechFlow on August 14, as reported by Cointelegraph, Morgan Stanley's Q2 13F filing submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) revealed that its holdings in BlackRock's iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (IBIT) increased to approximately 16.5 million shares, a 23% growth compared to the previous quarter. Holdings in the iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA) surged by an impressive 202%, reaching 4.6 million shares. Additionally, Morgan Stanley added 2.57 million shares of its own Bitcoin Trust (MSBT, valued at approximately $43.3 million) and initiated positions in the Grayscale Solana Staking ETF (GSOL) and Fidelity Solana Fund (FSOL) for the first time. Meanwhile, its holdings in Circle (CRCL) jumped significantly from approximately 1.46 million shares to 8.32 million shares, and it increased stakes in several Bitcoin mining companies. Notably, Morgan Stanley reduced its holdings in Coinbase (COIN) by approximately 550,000 shares and completely exited its position in Bitfarms (BITF), selling off around 8 million shares.
