Chainalysis sues U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, questioning its award of $94.6 million contract to TRM Labs
Chainalysis Government Solutions, a subsidiary of Chainalysis, has filed a lawsuit against the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) for awarding TRM Labs a $94.6 million contract, questioning the purchase decision as unreasonable and arbitrary. Chainalysis filed a protest with the US Federal Claims Court on July 27th regarding a one-year contract to provide blockchain forensics software and support services to the Homeland Security Task Force. TRM Labs intervened in the case on July 28th to jointly defend the contract with the US government. The court has scheduled an oral debate on September 2nd and requested the government to make a decision no later than September 10th.
