Metaplanet announced that it will invest 2100 BTC and $2.5 million in cash to acquire approximately 95.7% of the issued shares of Nasdaq listed company Super League for a total investment of approximately $134.6 million. After the transaction is completed, Super League will be renamed Superplanet, and Metaplanet currently holds 43000 BTC.

According to Bloomberg, Standard Bank is in talks to invest in Nigerian fintech company OPay and plans to complete the transaction before OPay's IPO in the United States.
