The voting on the proposal for GnosisDAO to transform Gnosis Chain from independent Layer 1 to ZK proof in the Ethereum Economic Zone Rollup instance will end in 12 hours. Currently, the support rate has reached 99.78% and a quorum has been reached. After the transformation, Gnosis Chain will inherit the security and liquidity of Ethereum, achieve synchronous composability with the mainnet, eliminate the validator set, unlock about 350000 GNO pledges, and the first version is expected to be launched by the end of 2026/early 2027.
