Iran plans to announce a new passage through the Strait of Hormuz, and the US Central Command stated that as of August 19th, it has forced 65 merchant ships to change their routes, resulting in 3 ships losing their ability to move and 2 ships being inspected. US President Trump has stated that the US has full control over the strait and that negotiations may take place at an appropriate time, while Iran denies engaging in direct dialogue with the US.
