[Polish Crypto Exchange Zondacrypto's Two CEOs Go Missing, Parent Company License Revoked] According to The New York Times, in March 2022, Sylwester Suszek, the founder of Polish crypto exchange Zondacrypto (formerly BitBay), went missing after leaving a desperate voice message for his sister. His family suspects he may have been murdered. The lawyer Przemyslaw Kral, who took over the company after Suszek, has also been missing for four months. Kral had previously released a video reassuring customers, claiming the company held over $330 million worth of Bitcoin, but the only person with access to the unlocking keys was the missing Suszek. Approximately two months after the website shut down in April (on June 29), the Estonian Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) revoked the license of its parent company.
