Kuwait and Qatar increase crude oil exports through the Strait of Hormuz, with export volumes recovering to 70% of pre conflict levels

According to foreign media reports, Kuwait and Qatar have increased their crude oil exports through the Strait of Hormuz, and their combined export volume has recovered to 70% of pre conflict levels. Before the conflict, the two countries exported approximately 2 million barrels of oil per day. Currently, about 7 to 8 million barrels of oil are transported out of the Strait of Hormuz every day, up from about 4 million barrels in mid July. Vortex announced on Monday that the daily flow of oil transported through the waterway is close to 10 million barrels.
