According to Bitcoin.com News, Polymarket US withdrew two NFL player participation contract documents on August 26th. The platform completed certification with the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) the day before and plans to launch related products no earlier than August 27th. On the same day, Polymarket US certified price contracts for Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, all of which were submitted in pairs and classified as swap contracts under the binary options subcategory. Both NFL contracts and cryptocurrency contracts involve related classifications. The NFL compliance analysis document will be submitted separately for confidentiality, and Polymarket US requests that it be permanently withheld from disclosure. As of the time of recording, another NFL American football starting qualification contract is still in a certified state.
