((0xbow.io)) Awards Bounty to Researcher for Disclosing Privacy Pools Vulnerability, Issue Resolved in March
Foresight News reports that the privacy and regulatory compliance tool ((0xbow.io)), supported by the Ethereum Foundation, announced via a tweet that it has awarded a $5,000 bounty to researcher ross.wei for disclosing a vulnerability in the Privacy Pools v1 SDK. The issue reduced the entropy of the master key generation for user accounts. The team stated that the vulnerability was resolved in March, a migration process was provided, and no user funds were lost.
