[HyENA Announces Cessation of Operations, All Markets to Be Delisted Between August 31 and September 2]
HyENA has announced the cessation of operations and the closure of all markets, with user funds remaining unaffected. The platform has processed over $4 billion in trading volume, served more than 12,000 traders, and distributed nearly 2.5 million USDe in rewards to margin users. Markets will be delisted gradually from August 31 to September 2, with positions automatically settled at the final marked price and margin funds returned to spot balances. HLPe deposits can be claimed at a 1:1 ratio along with accumulated rewards and withdrawn via Upshift. The final reward distribution date is August 27, and the final affiliate commission payment date is September 9. The Ethena exchange rewards program concluded in June 2026, and HyENA points hold no monetary value. HyENA does not have a token and has no plans to issue one.
