Swift's payment network worth $150 trillion is facing blockchain challenges

Cryptocurrency executives have stated that the new blockchain payment infrastructure may render Swift obsolete. And bankers believe that its network covering 11500 institutions gives it the ability to absorb this technology, rather than being replaced by it.
