According to CryptoSlate, the Ethereum L2 network Silicon stopped accepting new bridge deposits on September 2nd and initiated the shutdown process. Users need to withdraw their assets before December 31st, at which time the network and blockchain explorer will be offline. There are still approximately $9.75 million in assets on the chain, including USDC ($2.66 million), WBTC ($2.54 million), ETH ($2.08 million), and USDT ($1.85 million). Users can withdraw assets bridged from the Ethereum mainnet during the window period, but tokens issued on Silicon need to be exchanged through on chain liquidity, and Silicon's Web3 wallet will also be discontinued.

According to The Block, a Michigan court has issued a preliminary injunction against Kalshi, requiring him to continue blocking state residents from accessing sports contracts. Violating the injunction will result in a daily fine of $500000.
