[Palo Alto Networks Acquires AI Agent Startup Console for $500 Million]
According to TechCrunch, Palo Alto Networks announced the acquisition of AI Agent startup Console for $500 million in a cash and stock deal. Founded in 2024, Console leverages AI Agents to automate tasks such as password resets, application permission setups, and routine IT troubleshooting. Its clients include Ramp, Flock Safety, and Scale AI. Palo Alto Networks plans to integrate Console into its AI-driven security platform, Cortex, enabling security teams to investigate and address security alerts using natural language. This marks the seventh acquisition by Palo Alto Networks this year. The company previously acquired Chronosphere at a valuation of $3.35 billion and cybersecurity startup Koi for $400 million.
