Short-term trading focuses more on price precision; even if the direction is right, it might not be useful. Long-term trading focuses more on getting the direction right; price precision isn’t that important. What’s interesting is that sometimes the stop-loss point for short-term trades ends up being the entry point for long-term positions. For example, at a certain point (when?), the stop-loss level for short-term longs might actually be the starting point for long-term setups.
