Coldcard wallet stolen 1789 BTC, hackers start transferring funds

According to Bitcoin News monitoring, Coldcard wallet hackers have started exchanging approximately 10% of stolen BTC for ETH through THORChain. Alex Thorn from Galaxy Research stated that the remaining 90% of stolen BTC has not been utilized, and attackers have encountered multiple transactions being returned during redemption. The researchers have traced the relevant exchange operations to an Ethereum address and shared it with relevant departments and cryptocurrency companies. Galaxy Research stated that the Coldcard exploit resulted in the loss of 1789 BTC worth approximately $115 million for 8865 addresses.
