The US Senate plans to hold a closing debate vote on the CLARITY bill on Tuesday, which requires 60 votes to end obstruction. US Senator Cynthia Lummis stated that if lawmakers are unable to reach an agreement and submit the bill to the president for signature, the next chance of passage may have to wait until 2030. Paul Atkins, nominated as SEC Chairman, and Michael Selig, CFTC Chairman, stated that if the CLARITY Act is not pushed forward this year, digital asset regulation will continue to be promoted.
