OpenAI: Supports four artificial intelligence security regulatory bills in California, promoting nationwide mandatory regulation in the United States

OpenAI stated that it is promoting the implementation of mandatory national AI security regulatory requirements in the United States and supporting four California bills: SB 813 (establishing an independent security assessment mechanism), AB 1405 (targeting AI auditor standards), SB 1119 (protection of minors), and AB 1864 (preventing biological threats from artificial intelligence). Before the US Congress takes action, OpenAI will continue to support artificial intelligence legislation at the state level.
