According to CoinDesk, Bank of America (BofA), the fifth-largest commercial bank in the U.S., announced that it has completed a real-time cross-border payment between banking entities in North America and Europe using its USD stablecoin, USBDC, on the Stellar blockchain. The test covered minting, redemption, freezing, and recovery of USBDC, and validated the bank's self-developed digital asset platform. Bank of America stated that it is exploring the use of USBDC for cross-border fund management, liquidity management, and collateral transfers, but has not yet disclosed a timeline for customer-facing launches or commercialization. https://(wublock123.com)/news/bank-of-america-usdbc-stablecoin-cross-border-payments-test-68093
