Polish Olympic Committee President Radoslaw Piesiewicz has been dismissed on suspicion of receiving kickbacks from Zondacrypto

--

On September 14th, the Polish Olympic Committee voted to dismiss President Radoslaw Piesiewicz and appointed Marian Kmita as Acting President, with a term until April next year. Radoslaw Piesiewicz is suspected of receiving kickbacks from the cryptocurrency exchange Zondacrypto and has signed a sponsorship agreement between the exchange and the Polish Olympic Committee. Polish authorities launched an investigation in April, alleging that the former CEO of Zondacrypto had gifted a luxury watch worth $46605 to Radoslaw Piesiewicz in exchange for his intervention with consumer protection agencies.
