Chainalysis report: Open source AI model leads to 440% surge in on chain malware command cases
The Chainalysis report points out that since the launch of China's open-source AI model without security restrictions in the middle of last year, the number of cases of writing malware instructions into on chain transactions and smart contracts has surged by about 440% in less than a year, with daily cases increasing from about 2 to about 11. Attackers leave malware control instructions on the blockchain through a dead drop, instructing them to steal information, passwords, or funds and transfer them to a specified address, and the blockchain records are difficult to delete. Hacker groups supported by countries such as North Korea and Iran have become the main body of such activities. (Source: Bloomberg)
