According to data from the European Securities and Markets Authority, from June 26 to September 16, the number of banking based cryptocurrency service providers increased from about 40 to about 80, accounting for nearly 23% of registered providers, up from about 17%. During the same period, the total number of registered cryptocurrency service providers increased from 243 to 349, and the proportion of non bank providers decreased from about 84% to 77%, but their absolute number is still growing. Several partner banks and commercial banks in Germany have been included in the list, and Deutsche Bank plans to launch digital asset custody services for European institutions and corporate clients.
