Firmus Technologies, an AI startup supported by NVIDIA, is in talks with lending institutions for approximately $10 billion in financing to purchase NVIDIA chips for Indonesian data centers. The financing includes approximately $7.5 billion in debt funds and approximately $2.5 billion in equity funds, with a term of five years. Firmus Technologies plans to conduct an IPO at the end of October, aiming to raise up to $5 billion. The funds raised will be used to purchase GPUs for its 360 MW NVIDIA DSX AI factory campus located in Batam, Indonesia, which is being developed in collaboration with DayOne Data Centers.

Former Hack VC partner Hsin Ju passed away in August near the ramp of Interstate 15 in the Mojave Desert of California, at the age of 37. The cause of death is still under investigation. Hsin Ju accused Hack VC of demanding to continue working during his medical emergency and threatened to blacklist him in the industry.
