Vitalik stated on the X platform that synchronizing an Ethereum node can take at least half a day, and under aggressive settings, the disk usage can be less than 0.5 TB. EIP-4444 and the client team's optimization of snapshot synchronization have improved the synchronization situation. Glamsterdam will improve node synchronization, and the new synchronization protocol of Nimbus will adopt relevant improvements.
