to be honest, if someone sends me a shitter and its poorly branded from the beginning, to me this is not a person or team who believe in the long term vision of their product ( or they are serial ruggers ) its rushed without a plan or any thought ive always spoken about branding and how important it is in web3 ( its important for absolutely any business or medium ) you can almost tell when something is legit from the branding especially now days with how easy it is to code, the barrier to entry for creating products or services has never been lower so in a years time when coding is basically automated for anyone with an idea, whats left over to separate them all ?? its the branding the design the ui/ux the community and culture built around it, communication, story telling, lore etc the values and morales how easily can someone connect with it, sure the fundamentals, team etc are important but if its poorly branded and even worse just terrible AI slop, im sorry but im not touching it, please dont even send it to me, in the peak of the bull the pure ai slop will 99% be a rug mostly everyone can see through it these days there are very few exceptions that can get by with terrible branding and i think theres a huge huge market for web3 branding agencies to help projects convey their tech/vision through visual language and communicate the roadmap, progress and vision to investors it doesnt even matter if youre a layer 1 or a meme from a launchpad, not putting some energy into your branding is missing out on that culty memetic energy to drive everything forward creativity, design, is one of the key pillars to the new paradigm of tech and community, not applying it is a massive massive wasted opportunity
