The cross chain transaction protocol Relay disclosed that its API had exposed pending transaction information, resulting in user orders being hijacked by MEV searchers. The incident occurred from September 12th to 26th, affecting approximately 5600 users, with a median loss of about $11.88, and a total profit of about $136000 for searchers. Relay has paid a bounty of $50000 to @ Outputlayer and will automatically compensate a total of approximately $312000 to affected users.
