EU regulatory authorities have raised questions about Binance's continued service to EU users after failing to obtain MiCA licenses. Binance failed to obtain authorization from the European Union's Crypto Asset Market Regulation (MiCA) before the deadline of July 1, 2026, has withdrawn its application to Greece, and is required to orderly liquidate its EU business. Binance is still providing services to some EU users through "reverse solicitation" exemptions and partial transaction routing to Abu Dhabi entities. The European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) has contacted Binance to confirm whether to proceed with liquidation. (Source: Financial Times)
