The Financial Commission of Korea has issued a notice for the revision of lower regulations related to the institutionalization of Token Securities, planning to include traditional securities such as stocks, bonds, and funds in the scope of securities tokenization. The amendment stipulates that in addition to fragmented investment securities, traditional securities can also be tokenized, and clarifies that distributed ledgers must include electronic registration agencies and at least two account management agencies. It also prohibits the use of distributed ledgers for electronic registration purposes to pay direct fees. (Source: Yonhap News Agency)
