SBI Digital Trust collaborates with NICE and DSRV to verify stablecoin payments in Japan and South Korea

On October 1st, SBI Digital Trust signed an agreement with NICE Information&Telecommunications and DSRV to jointly verify a commercial solution for cross-border transfer and payment between Japan and South Korea using stablecoins. The verification is based on Japanese tourists using QR code payments at NICE Information&Telecommunication franchise merchants in South Korea, with a focus on verifying fund flow, payment instructions, and system connectivity. It is expected to be completed by the end of December 2026. SBI Digital Trust is responsible for payment scheme design, NICE Information&Telecommunication provides merchant network and operational experience, and DSRV is responsible for blockchain technology research.
