Zelensky stated that Ukraine and Germany will jointly produce 2,000 "Bars" long-range interception drones. Meanwhile, Ukraine is accelerating the development of its domestic air defense system, with the "Turret" defense plan entering the systematic implementation phase, and dozens of defensive turrets are set to be deployed subsequently. Additionally, Ukraine is developing several types of small missiles, with testing and acceptance expected to take place in the second half of this month. Furthermore, Zelensky noted that the United States is currently maintaining communication with both Ukraine and Russia and has proposed holding technical trilateral talks by the end of October. Ukraine has explicitly expressed its support for this and holds an open and positive attitude toward hosting the talks in the UAE or other countries suggested by the U.S. At this stage, the U.S. will formally propose the talks to Russia, and Ukraine will await Russia's response.
