The US CFTC has issued a pre proposed rule notice, intending to establish a framework for the cryptocurrency spot market

The US Commodity Futures Trading Commission has issued a pre proposed rule notice to establish a cryptocurrency market structure framework for spot trading, based on existing DCM, DCO, and FCM registrations and the creation of new categories of cryptocurrency markets. Spot exchanges may choose not to join the framework and retain state currency transfer licenses if they do not provide leverage. (Source: Eleanor Terrett)
